b'NEWS FROM COPPER STATE PERUVIAN PASO CLUBBy Liz Potof, PresidentJoin CSPPC on our Facebook page and like us. We look forward to hearing from you. A nother year bites the dust!! Or mud which seems to recently be the case. I admit as club president I have been relying on our Facebook page to keep members up to date on CSPPC activities. We started 2019 withthe Carousel Charity Horse Show inMarch and culminated with the US National Peruvian Horse Show at WestWorld of Scottsdale in October. It was quite a ride!I do hope everyone has been keeping up on the CSPPC Facebook page as well asthe NAPHA website because it has been quite a year!!!Just recently several long time Peruvian Horse owners, breeders, and instrumental organizers have passed away.Services have been held for Frank Sutalo, Arlynda Castro-Miller, and Carol Hackett. The CSPPC has sent their condolences to the families and will send a donation to the chosen charity or fund of each. A very sad year!!On a lighter note, we are plunging into the new year with the usual After Xmas, Christmas party in January followed by the Carousel Charity Horse Show in March. After our October Nationals, we had several inquiries and test rides of our breed. A shout out to Celesteand Gary Carter for promoting the Peruvian Horse at paradesthroughout the state. We are hoping they will continue this amazing promotion in 2020 and have fun along the way. We are also working on some plans for seminars and trail rides. Please bear with us while we catch up from our 2019 challenges and step up to this years new adventures. We wish everyone a happy and prosperous new year!Dee Strohacker taking her first ride on RBV Azucena (aka Lily) at BEL If you have questions or comments, please call Liz at 602-799-4913 or Michele Peruvian Ranch in Scottsdale.at 602-540-2135.
