b'NEWS FROM COPPER STATEPERUVIAN PASO CLUBBy Michele WilsonT he governing body for the North American Peruvian Horse Association has formed a new group, the Recreational Riders. They just held their first ride through the Garden of the Gods which is near Colorado Springs, Colorado. This was held the day after the Centennial State and Southwest Club double show in Fountain, Colorado in July. Many of the horses and riders participating came directly from the show ring the day before, proving the versatility of the Peruvian Horse.The National Show website is up with the complete premium listing, hotel information, and entry forms. For anyone attending this show, which will be in conjunctionwith the Oklahoma State Fair, make sure you check the NAPHA website. The dates for our show are September 24th through 26th. There will be an entrance fee charged for each day you attend. This is forentry to the fairgrounds. There are reduced fees if you order your tickets online through the fairs box office. Next month we will have information about the events at the Southern California Clubs double showin Temecula. We are so looking forward to attending this event at Galway Downs. We just found out this morning that the Mission Trails Club will hold a show at that same location in November. More on thatnext month!
