Every great country song has a story. At Songwriter Showdown, we want to hear both. Share the inspiration behind your original song, then perform it live for our judges and audience.

Foley Ranch is searching for Arizona’s next great Country Songwriter.

If you’ve been writing original country music and are ready to share your songs and the stories behind them, this is your chance to step into the spotlight. Songwriter Showdown is a live competition created to showcase Arizona’s talented country songwriters and introduce their music to new audiences.

To enter, simply upload a short video of yourself performing one of your original country songs. Your submission does not need to be professionally produced. A simple video recorded on your phone is all you need. Perform with an acoustic guitar, full band, backing track, or whatever best represents your music.

The competition is open to solo artists and duos performing original country music. Whether you’re an established songwriter or just beginning your journey, we encourage you to enter.

Each week, six artists will compete live at Foley Ranch. Two performers each week will advance to the Finals, where one songwriter will be crowned the Songwriter Showdown Champion.
