I looked down the hall and saw three gentlemen walking toward the main office. I could tell by their walk, body posture, and Open 7 Days A Week10am5pm dress that they are ranchers. They walk into the main office, and I sat there thinking about Located in Stagecoach Village them. I decided to get up, go to the main office and meet these three fellers. I had no idea how making friends with them would change my life in a very good way. I walked into the main 7100 E Cave Creek Rd, Suite 139Cave Creek office and Richard, my trainer agent, introduced me to the fellers; their names were JB, Jimmy, Store: 480-322-2486 or call Trish: 405-714-7582 and Mr. Kiker. We visited for a good while and when they started to leave, Mr. Kiker asked me Pete, do you know how to ride a horse?" Mr. Kiker was a sincere and happy feller. You stickhorsegallery.com could see it in his eyes and the way he talked you could tell he was the type of person everyone respected and loved. I looked Mr. Kiker in the eyes and said Sir, I saw a Roy Rogers movie once. His face lit up and he said, Come help us work cattle tomorrow. Richard is coming to help so you can ride with him, bring your saddle and we\'ll provide a horse. MARCH 1 ST 31 ST We showed up at the ranch and there was a horse tied to the trailer with no saddle, and with just a quick observation and judgment of the horse I classified it as a kid horse. That was ok; Fired Earth & a PaintersBrush some kid horses become lots better when a grown person rides them. Most of the cowboys went around, but I went right through the brush behind the Monday - Saturday steer. The first clearing we came to I roped that yearling. The kid horse did great running 9 am - 2 pm thru the brush, and as I turn the yearling the others coasted the steer back to the pen. Once MCGILLS GALLERY in the pen, I put a trip on the yearling and as he hit the ground the other cowboys held him 45 Valentine St.Tuesday - Saturday down and took my rope off. What a day! 9 am - 4 pmOPENING RECEPTIONWhen we were done working cattle and standing in a circle visiting about the day, Mr. Kiker, Saturday, March 4thwith that kind look in his eyes and feeling that the love for the family and the Lord showed 4 - 6 pm Wickenburg Art Club thru his great smile, says If you are this good of a cowboy by watching a Roy Roger\'s movie, Wally Schwab - Ceramist you are gonna be one heck of a cowboy after watching me work cattle all day! That day I saw how the Lord shone through Mr. Kiker, the Lord had blessed him with a gentle and kind heart, and what a pleasure it was to be around him. I also learned that by me being humble, I was a lot easier to like and trust. The Lord wants all of us to be humble and use the talents bestowed on us and share our talents with others. Much like the kid horse and he was one heck of a horse, it is also important not to judge people and animals because the Lord has bestowed different talents on all of us.
