b'NEWS FROM COPPER STATEPERUVIAN PASO CLUBBy Michele WilsonT he 2021 Pacific Coast & Grand Championship Show was held on August 20 and 21 at Galway Downs in Temecula CA. The weather blessed us desert dwellers as the mornings were misty and foggy, with temperatures in the high 60s. The afternoons were sunny but not hot, as we had expected.Galway Downs is a beautiful facility covering many acres, set among the hills and vineyards for which Temecula is most famous. The Peruvian Horses were all beautifully groomed, ridden with excellence, and very well-judged. Two six-year-old junior girls showed fantastic equestrian skills for riders so small.This was their first show. So great to see the future of our breed in the hands of these young riders!
