When they became aware of the auctions of the Alpine horsesOctober 28th! from the Apache-Sitgreaves forest in eastern Arizona, they really jumped into the rescue game and became a non-profit entity. They fostered and adopted a total of 57 Alpines. This is in addition to their five long time rescues that include a former PMU Belgian mare, Gretchen, and a Clydesdale that was abandoned in a field in Ohio, named Hannah. Terry Hoover runs all the social media, and is the person who manages the paperwork and communicates with their followers on Instagram, TikTok and Patreon. 16 dogs, two of which are temporary fosters, have found their way to 4 Hooves as well as three cats.
