The website will be “parked” at least for the future few months but the Club will retain the domain name. We’ll work hard to keep everyone up to date with information on the Peruvian Horse, both in Arizona and nationally. Some of our members will be meeting at the Mane Event at West World on May 27th. Call President Liz Potof at 602-799-4913 for more information on where and when to meet. The NAPHA National Membership Meeting was recently held at Westview Farms in New York. Among items considered was better communication among the local clubs and the Directors of NAPHA, more breed promotion and use of webcast at the National Show which will be held this coming October in Fort Worth. A new advertising brochure is in the works. Locally, upcoming events include a clinic featuring the gaited horse. Watch FaceBook to see the schedule. And finally, an update on MCA Coralina, in training at Fortaleza Ranch in Winchester, CA. Coralina has reported that she is definitely NOT at a spa, she has to work for her alfalfa but that she is being loved and fussed over every day. She now carries a rider and is learning to hold her head up high and proudly in the Peruvian tradition. She sent her picture at bath time.
