ArizonaRealCountry.com 25 April 2018 Featuring Sacate Pellet Mills advertiser highlight SACATE PELLET MILLS is located at 5555 W. Elliot Road in Laveen. The family-owned business has been producing premium horse and cattle feed since 1985. Annually distributing over 36,000 tons of product keeps owner Olen Petznick pretty busy. We were able to wrangle him for a couple of questions. If we came to your house for dinner what would you make for us? I’d grill steaks because we are also in the cattle business. We own feedlots in the South Valley, and we like to promote our product! What’s the last gift you gave someone? I wrote a check to my favorite charity. Tell us about your family. I have a beautiful wife, a son who works in the family business, a son-in-law who also works in the family business, and a daughter and daughter-in-law who have given me four beautiful grandchildren. We are a very close family. What is the last furry thing you touched? My dog Sammy. Have you ever tipped a cow? Isn’t that an urban myth? Do you believe honesty is always the best policy in business? Absolutely. In my opinion, honesty, integrity, quality and customer service are the building blocks for a successful company. What are the best things about your product – pellets? We don’t skimp on quality, our pellets are all natural with no additives, and we produce one thing only; pellets. This enables us to concentrate on making the best product on the market at a fair price. Plus, pellets, in general, eliminate waste, are much cleaner and easier to feed and store than alfalfa, and are nutritionally balanced. What accomplishments are you most proud of? Personally, helping build a strong, tight-knit family. On the business side, I helped build Sacate from the ground up, and I take great pride in its growth and success. What TV channel doesn’t exist but should? A network news station that actually reports the news in a fair and unbiased manner.
