b'Queen Creek 4-H Dog Projectby Cameron Graham (Vice President) and Madison Graham (Community Relations Officer), Queen Creek 4-H DogA rizona State 4-H Dog Committee hosted its second Dog Clinic in Eloy last month. There was a great turnout with plenty of dog/handler pairs ready to learn. The days schedule consisted of Agility, Trick Dog Training, Showmanship, and Rally/Obedience, with opportunities to get CGC (Canine Good Citizen) and TrickDog Certified. The atmosphere was friendly, and the teachers were very helpful. Whats more, the community of Eloy expressed curiosity and support for the 4-H project by stopping by and watching the activities of the day. This was the first time learning and trying these skills as a dog/handler pair for many of the 4-H members. Instructors offered expert advice, some one-on-one coaching and fostered an environment of success and encouragement, skillfully instructing while keeping things fun.
