You can also find us on GECRiders.comBY THE HASSAYAMPAand I for one did not have stampede strings on my hat. AT GATES ROAD Baling twine has so many uses and I'm sure I'm not the T oday's GEC ride took us down Gates Road infirst person to use it to tie my hat down! We were able to ride 9.2 miles in three hours and can't wait to try this area Morristown to 271st Ave. for parking. We wereagain as this ride had a little bit of everything. consolidated down to three trailers, with seven riders, limited parking, and the potential need for an Arizona State Land Permit. It didn't hurt that GEC members Pat and Cyndi had recently arrived from Iowa with their stock trailer, an impressive size, that conveniently brought four horses to the staging area. As some of us were tacking up, a Jeep Club appeared and there were no less than 35 Jeeps heading to the wash down Gates Road. Not sure where they ended up because we neither saw nor heard them through our entire ride. Another sign to remind us that the Arizona desert has room for everyone regardless of your hobby. Jane and Darwin led our group across the desert to the north and then down through the wash and across the Hassayampa. It felt like we were riding in a semi-box canyon with a few climbs to get around some larger unpassable rock formations. The weather called for wind at four mph but if you ask me it was definitely windier W E S T E R N D R I L L I N G S E R V I C E SC O M P A N YL L C Water Well DrillingDBA Well Pump & Drilling ServicesThe Pump CompanyInstallationInspections SERVICING ARIZONAWater TestingTop-Rated ServiceSuperior Products PLUS the Most Advanced and Efficient Method for Well RehabilitationTell em 623-327-1200Arizona Real Country thepumpcompany.ussent ya!327 N 1st St, Buckeye, AZ 85326 Mon - Fri: 7:30 am - 5:00 pmSat - Sun: Appointment OnlyAfter Hour Services AvailableArizonaRealCountry.com April 2023 67"
