Watch your video and have often thought about that question. What makesslow it down. You cannot keep telling yourself you a winner anyway? Is it whatsuck over and over. You may have sucked that day but they win? Is it how much theyyou do not suck. I remind our daughter how beautiful win? Is it who they are as aand talented she is. Try to pick something out about person? When you roll up to the rodeo or the barrelthe run that was good to focus on. If you do this it can race and you see that gal or guy thats handy but theychange your whole mindset for the next event or the havent won what they should have in the last year.next go around. You dont have to have a meltdown. Are they a winner, or is it just the individual that isYou can control your emotions. beating them every weekend?Againthe question is who is the winner? Its the Now to me, its obvious that the person who is gettingone who doesnt stop and doesnt quit. If you work at a paycheck is a winner but what about that othersomething a little each day and keep entering it will guy? Is he a winner too? The one that is enteredcome together at some point and you guessed it everywhere but cant seem to catch a break. I meanyou will be the winner. Attitude is everything.that guy is trying like crazy and seems to be beating his head against the wall, but is he? If your attitude is that of a champion and your heart is gold then you are a winner. You didnt go out back When I think about this, I truly think that theand jerk on your horse when things didnt go as hard-headed one that keeps entering will get theirplanned. You gave yourself a few minutes to be ticked turn soon. Now, exactly what is soon? Well, thatsand then you got over it and prepared for the next to be seen. Hes not beating himself up because heday or next rodeo. Let go of the past and learn from your mistakes. Be gracious on yourself!! In the grand scheme of things if you didnt win that day its OK!! Figure out what you need to work on and get it handled on the next trip. Truly be thankful to God that you get to be at the rodeo. Someone just told me they had a really crappy day today. I told them, No, you are at the rodeo and there are no bad days at the rodeo. knows his time is coming. He knows that winning has happened before and he recalls it in his mind. He remembers the good times and he chooses to focus on the positive. He knows he is a winner. Our daughter was winning almost everywhere I took her this summer and then she got sick. Unfortunately, she hasnt gotten her mojo back yet. The keyword is yet. She wants to get on herself but I told her tonight that her turn is coming and to just keep going.Sometimes folks get so frustrated they want to quit and sometimes they do. Dont quit in a slump. Keep being consistent with what you do and how you rideIf your attitude is that of a champion and your horse, rope your calf, or whatever it is that you do. Dont back off and dont let that negative mentality creep in. When you have a bad run, give yourself ayour heart is gold then you are a winner. few minutes to be mad about it and then move on.
