Cover; place in refrigerator and let batter rest two hours or overnight. Heat a buttered skillet over moderate heat. Remove from heat, pour a scant 1/4 c. batter into pan near handle and quickly rotate pan to coat the bottom evenly. Pour excess batter back into container. Return pan to heat and cook crepe until it is set and bottom is lightly browned. Turn, lightly brown the other side. Repeat with remaining batter. Cool on wire rack; stack crepes until ready to fill. Makes 8 to 12. egg rolls – american style INGREDIENTS 1 envelope beef flavored mushroom soup mix 1/2 lb. ground beef 1 c. bean sprouts, drained 1/2 c. water chestnuts, sliced 2 T. onions, chopped 2 pkg. crescent rolls, refrigerated DIRECTIONS Preheat oven to 375°. In medium skillet combine first 5 ingredients. Brown well. Separate rolls. Slice each triangle in half. Place spoonful of mixture in center of each triangle. Fold over and seal edge.
