ArizonaRealCountry.com 47 November 2018 simple bread stuffing for roast turkey INGREDIENTS 1 1/2 lb. loaf stale white bread 1 1/2 t. salt 1 c. diced celery 1/8 t. black pepper 1/4 c. chopped onion 3/4 c. broth from cooking giblets 1/4 c. butter or use milk 2 t. poultry seasoning DIRECTIONS Remove crust from bread and cut in 1" dice. Place in a 4 qt. bowl. Saute celery and onion in butter until soft and yellow; then turn over bread; add seasonings and toss together until well mixed. Cool. Add broth last and again toss until mixed. Stuff lightly into turkey. Sufficient for a 10 lb. turkey. Increase according to size of bread. cauliflower salad INGREDIENTS 1 lg. head cauliflower 1/2 c. sliced radishes 1/2 c. sliced green onions 1/2 c. chopped parsley 1 c. mayonnaise 1 c. sour cream 1 pkg. Good Seasons cheese-garlic dressing DIRECTIONS Mix dressing, cream and mayonnaise. Roll and put in pie pan. Filling: 1 1/2 c. rhubarb 2 T. butter 1 1/2 c. sugar 2 T. flour 2 eggs 5 T. water DIRECTIONS Mix rhubarb, sugar and flour. Beat egg yolks in one bowl. Add water and butter. Mix well. Pour into pie shell. Beat egg whites in separate bowl and put on top of pie. Bake in unbaked pie shell in a 350˚ oven for 45 minutes.
