ArizonaRealCountry.com 47 October 2018 We have finally pinned down the date for the Nicole Brass clinic. Mark your calendars for Sunday, October 28. BEL Peruvians will be hosting this clinic which will give you a lot of tips on choosing the right horse, how to care for it and just about everything else you thought you knew but didn’t know. Nicole is a very experienced horsewoman who now lives in Idaho but has roots in Arizona also. Her specialty is Peruvians but she is highly regarded by owners of all other breeds. We are excited to host this clinic and invite you all to join in and participate. Check our Facebook page for more information and to RSVP to Liz. Liz will also be sending out a notice via email to alert all club members and interested others who might want to attend. You can read more about Nicole on her Facebook page, Nicole Brass Horse Training. Michele Wilson’s mare, MCA Coralina, was entered in the Mission Trails Peruvian Paso Championship Show at Galway Downs in Temecula, California in August. Remember that she went to California last year for training and she has become a regular “Valley Girl”. Not only did Coralina win a 2nd place in the Jack Benny Performance Class, she also carried Junior Rider, Cassidy Crocker, to two 1st place wins in the Junior classes, winning Cassidy the honor of High Point Junior for her age group. Way to go, Cassidy and Coralina! Don’t forget the Peruvian Paso Nationals in Glen Rose, Texas from October 12th to the 14th. They will be live streamed again this year making it very easy to follow the classes and ceremonies.
