b'NEWS FROM COPPER STATEPERUVIAN HORSE CLUBBy Michele WilsonT he Copper State Peruvian Horse Club wishes all readers and our valued aficionados the happiest of holidays and a most prosperous 2023 with good health and many happy trails to enjoy every day!We are in the planning stages for our long-awaited clinic. We want to focus on the Peruvian Horse, its history, its gait and smoothness, and why you should consider one for your next stable mate. Well review the use of traditional Peruvian tack and also the use of non-traditional tack, i.e.: Western, English, and Australian. We would like to put to rest the controversy over tack other than Peruvian because we know that all types of tack can be used as long as it is well-fitted. Plans for the Carousel Charity Horse Show are moving along nicely. There will be two newFillies from La Estancia Alegradivisions added to our list of classes. We are bringing back Junior Classes for our young exhibitors and we are also adding Amateur Owner to Ride classes to feature the owners who exhibit their own horses. We are adding a Pattern class to the Performance Division that will be open to all riders who want to try their hand at the various maneuvers that will be included.
