BUCKEYE DAYS December 2018 38 Jan 24-27 2019 BUCKEYE DAYS will take place in Historic Downtown Buckeye January 24-27, 2019. The Buckeye Friends of the Library kick things off with a BBQ dinner at the Buckeye Elementary School Gym on 6th Street and Monroe at 6:30p.m. You might as well stay the weekend because it is non-stop action! Find a spot to sit with your family along Monroe Avenue and watch the Cattle Drive Parade starting at 9:30a.m. January 26th. There are great views along Monroe starting at Bayless Park and ending at First Street to watch a clown walk an imaginary dog or Shriner miniature cars circling three times followed by a motorcade of super-sized green and yellow John Deere tractors. Saturday, January 26th at 11a.m. following the Cattle Drive Parade enjoy BBQ lunch at The Buckeye Valley Museum located at 116 East Highway 85 in Historic Downtown Buckeye. The Museum houses an impressive collection of Pre-Columbian pottery, historic photographs, and artifacts from the earliest days of Buckeye. A Great Northern A’Fair Carnival will be at Bayless Park January 24-27. Bayless Park is across the street from Museum. Saturday, January 26th Dr. Buck’s Wild West Show and Craft Vendor area open at 11a.m. located at 6th Street Plaza, 517 East Monroe Avenue. Expect the unexpected at this FREE Wild West Festival with World Champion performers in the Wild West Arts, such as Trick Roping, Six Gun Spinning, Bull-Whip Cracking and Trick Horse Riding! Plus the fact that it is good old family fun entertainment with audience participation, the likes of which, some have never seen!
