The 5-day AQHA show had over 7500 entries. Exhibitors from across the country are flocking to this event because of its awards and huge variety of classes. The air conditioning in WestWorld’s Indoor Equidome is a welcome break from our heat. It is also a central place to catch up with fellow exhibitors and shop the western booths. We can see why this growing event is getting known as the “Show For Everyone”.  Award presentations were made in the center of the arena with a good deal of fanfare for many of the classes. All of the champions were presented with an embroidered leather jacket with the Arizona Fall Championship logo. Denim embroidered jackets were given to all those who placed second through fifth. The all-around winners took home full quill ostrich boots from Woods Western Wear and Rod Patrick, a 20X Atwood hat from Barbara’s Custom Hats, a Cinch/Cruel Girl shirt, and Cinch/Cruel Girl jeans from Cinch. An additional $20,000 in cash was also awarded to the exhibitors. My daughter and I really enjoy competing at this amazing show here in our home State of Arizona and encourage you to put it on your calendar for next year!  Here are the Circuit Champions the Cow Horse classes: Junior Working Cow Horse One Smooth Mate ridden by Grant Lindaman Senior Working Cow Horse Sonata Lena Rey ridden by Corey Cushing Amateur Working Cow Horse Cowsmackin ridden by Chantz Stewart Youth Working Cow Horse Spark Me Again ridden by Caroline Buchanan L1 Amateur Working Cow Horse Boxing Master Pryor ridden by Tracy Ellingson I recently had the opportunity to attend the AQHA World Show in Oklahoma City. I received the AQHA and Justin Boots High Point Intermediate Award. It was an honor to meet so many talented competitors, trainers, and judges. The ceremony was held at the National Cowboy and Western Heritage Museum right in Oklahoma City. I would highly recommend a visit to this OUTSTANDING museum!
